Lauren Manninen is an an Iowan artist, working primarily with acrylics and ink. Her work incorporates bold colors and mark-making, that come together to create a harmonized, centered whole. She enjoys the continuous dialogue she has between her abstract and figurative based work. She currently works at the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy as Program Director and Teaching Artist.
